Mars Shinsu Iwai Tradition 750ml

This Japanese malt whiskey is aged in a mix of Sherry casks, Bourbon casks, and American wine casks.  This whiskey show a bright fruitiness with a touch of campfire smoke on the nose.  The palate shows mild peat with a balanced sweetness.   The finish is rich and very smooth.  Drinks well above it’s price point, and a perfect intro to Japanese whiskey.
