Bardstown Bourbon Company Discovery Series #8 features a unique blend of Kentucky Bourbons, two Indiana ryes, and aged Canadian whiskey. It represents the most Rye forward expression of any Discovery release to date and then takes innovation a step further by maturing the final batch with a custom selection of oak staves. Each oak stave was selected for its unique flavor profile ranging from French toast to Rioja barrels
The blend consists of 66% 12 Year Kentucky Bourbon(78% Corn, 10% Rye, 12% Malted Barley), 17% 7 Year Old Indiana Rye(51% Rye, 45% Corn, 4% Malted Barley), 11% 12 Year Ontario Whiskey(100% Corn), and 6% 7 Year Old Indiana Rye(95% Rye, 5% Malted Barley)
