          This distillery is one of the last 3 lowlands distilleries.  Unlike most Scotch it is triple-distilled which makes it a heavier style.  The nose shows spice, malt, butterscotch and earth.  This is un-peated and not very smokey, instead it is full and rich showcasing vanilla, toffee and a touch of fruit.

          Mixed results
First order was perfect. Second order, I received the wrong vintage year for the wine I ordered. To be fair, they apologized and gave me a discount on my next order, but it was a hassle to send it back. I’ll give them another shot, but I’ll double-check my bottles immediately next time.

Everyone talks about the rare spirits, but SipsVintage also has a great selection of artisanal bitters and vermouths that are hard to find locally. Shipping is a little expensive, but it’s worth it for the variety.
